Why Can't I Taste the Rainbow?

I'd like to taste the rainbow.

As a black woman, I've only ever been with black men.

The farthest I've ever strayed has been with a guy who was puerto rican...and had a black grandmother.

But I would really like to taste the rainbow.

When I look, I see Black men with every color under the son

But Black women - rarely anything other than their own skin color.

Then we hold out hope, restricting ourselves to date only people that look like us.

No more!

I will taste the rainbow -- any color that pleases my fancy.
